Plexus on plans for Romania
In April this year, EMS-provider Plexus Corp. announced plans to construct a 280,000 square feet manufacturing plant in Oradea, Romania. A spokesperson for the company answered a couple of questions about the plan.
The planned facility will cost approximately $40 million, and the project is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2013. It is anticipated that staffing levels would grow from the current level of 245 to 500 when the facility is fully operational.
